Barbell House began with a desire for minimalism—in both form and finish. Designed while the homeowners were living in Zurich, the home brings Scandinavian influences to the woodlands of Long Island. Its efficient bar-shaped layout reduces material waste and cost, offering a modern, environmentally conscious take on American living.

East End Escape that Reclaims Hidden Water Views

Harbor Hideaway is an award-winning single-family residence in the centuries-old whaling village of Sag Harbor, NY. The property is situated in the center of a small peninsula and seemingly on one of the only lots in the quaint neighborhood without direct water views. However, by flipping the traditional orientation of the home and providing ample roof access, the two-story home becomes a stunning lookout.

Open Corner is a bright, modern farmhouse designed to embrace both the unique geometry of its lot and the natural path of the sun. An L-shaped rear layout opens the main living spaces to the surrounding landscape, allowing light and views to fill the home throughout the day. A simple palette and soft interior finishes creates a cohesive flow between the architecture and interiors. The home’s striking design and abundant natural light ultimately made it the primary set location for a major motion picture—earning a spot among Netflix’s top 10 films.

A Home Redesigned for Ocean Views

A Hamptons home on a picturesque property wasn’t taking advantage of the available sightlines toward the oceanfront. With a series of deliberate architectural gestures, we were able to shift the views back to the water without disturbing much of the existing residence. The result is a visually cohesive renovation that provides the homeowner with a greater connection to nature.

Infinity House

A Tropical Modern Home on Florida's Intracoastal

Infinity House is a ground-up family retreat on the Intracoastal Waterway in Boca Raton, FL. Divided into five zones, the layout creates privacy and comfort for the large family and their many rotating guests. A shaded front yard offers privacy from the street, while the rear opens fully to the water. A cantilevered shell provides both solar protection and covered outdoor living—perfect for the Florida climate.
