the UP studio : Modern Cabana Architecture with Contextual Contradict

Here at UP we are continually intrigued by the relationship between traditional and modern design. This pool house/cabana is an example of this relationship. Located within a planned development on the North Shore of Long Island, it was designed to drive the neighbors crazy while still providing our clients with something unique, which was their desire. Oh yeah, we also sited it to maximize passive solar strategies as well.
